Real Christmas Tree Delivery Saint Ives
Fresh British-grown Christmas trees can be delivered to eligible addresses in Saint Ives and nearby villages, with indoor Nordmannnn Fir, outdoor Norway Spruce and selected rooted trees available in a range of sizes. The Christmas Tree Firm has more than 50 years of experience supplying real trees for homes, schools, churches, businesses and other suitable venues.
For Saint Ives customers, choosing the right tree usually comes down to four things: where it will stand, how much space is available, whether it will be indoors or outdoors, and whether you want a fresh-cut or rooted tree.
Saint Ives Christmas Tree Questions Answered
Which tree should I choose for an indoor living room?
Premium Nordmannn Fir is one of our main indoor choices. It has softer green foliage and good needle retention when properly watered and cared for.
If you prefer a more naturally varied outline, Standard Nordmannn Fir uses the same species but allows greater variation in branch spacing, shape and density.
What if I want that traditional Christmas-tree scent?
Norway Spruce Tree offers pointed foliage, a classic silhouette and a stronger traditional fragrance. Our Norway Spruce range is supplied for outdoor use only.
Norway Spruce 5ft-6ft provides one practical size for suitable exterior displays.
Do you have smaller trees?
Yes. Premium Nordmannn Fir 3ft-4ft can suit smaller living rooms, flats, offices or raised displays where a full-height family tree would take up too much space.
What about a rooted Christmas tree?
Selected Rooted 4ft-5ft trees are available for customers specifically looking for a tree supplied with roots intact.
If you intend to plant the tree afterwards, follow the individual care guidance carefully. Replanting success depends on the individual tree and how it has been kept during the festive period.
Before You Pick a Height, Measure the Whole Space
A tree described as 6ft-7ft is measured from the base of the trunk to the tip. You still need additional clearance for the stand and any star, angel or other topper.
Width is just as important. A netted tree will look far narrower during delivery than it does after the branches have opened and settled.
Also check the route from the entrance to the final position. Doorways, narrow hallways and tight turns become particularly important with larger trees.

Choose the Stand at the Same Time as the Tree
A fresh-cut indoor Christmas tree should be placed in a stable water-holding stand. Our Christmas Tree Stands range includes options for different tree heights and trunk diameters.
The Cinco 8 Tree Stand is designed for compatible trees up to 8ft. If you are ordering a taller tree, check the larger stand options before completing the order.
Do not rely only on height. Natural trunk diameter varies, so the stand opening also needs to suit the individual tree.

Large Christmas Trees for Saint Ives Venues
Our service also extends beyond household trees. Suitable schools, churches, businesses, hospitality venues and community organisations can contact us about larger real Christmas tree requirements.
For substantial projects, see Large Real Christmas Trees in Cambridgeshire. Custom trees from 15ft to 30ft can be discussed through Custom Size Tree 15ft-30ft.
Large trees require additional planning around access, unloading, support and installation, so these should be discussed before ordering.
Helping a Fresh Indoor Tree Last
A fresh-cut Nordmannnn Fir should have regular access to water. Keep the reservoir in the stand topped up and avoid positioning the tree immediately beside radiators, fires or other strong heat sources.
See Tree Care Tips for more practical advice.
