About The Christmas Tree Firm
The Christmas Tree Firm is a family-run business built on more than 50 years of experience and three generations of knowledge. Long before online ordering and home delivery became part of Christmas shopping, our family was already selling real Christmas trees face to face and learning what customers really wanted from them.
That experience still shapes the way we work today, from choosing the trees we sell to helping customers select the right size, stand and delivery option.
Three Generations of Christmas Tree Experience
Our story began with the user's grandfather selling Christmas trees from a pitch in his hometown of Luton, Bedfordshire. Demand quickly grew, and he started searching for the type of tree that would give customers the right balance of appearance, quality and value.
That search eventually led him to Nordmann Fir, which became one of the family’s most popular choices and remains central to our range today through Premium Nordman Fir.
As more people came back year after year, he became known locally as the Christmas tree man. Some of the same families continued buying from him for decades, creating the kind of repeat custom and word-of-mouth reputation that still matters to us now.
How the Business Grew
First Generation
Real Christmas trees were sold directly to local customers, with knowledge built through years of selecting, handling and selling trees in person.
Second Generation
That experience was passed down, along with the practical understanding of tree quality, shape, freshness and what different customers look for.
Third Generation
The business moved further into online ordering and home delivery, allowing the same family knowledge to reach customers throughout Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire and selected surrounding areas.

Real Christmas trees are natural products. Two trees within the same height range can still differ in width, density, branch spacing and trunk thickness. Experience helps when choosing the right type of tree, matching it to a stand and judging what will work in a particular room or venue.

We source from trusted British growers and work to keep the time between cutting and customer delivery as short as practical within our seasonal operation.
