Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 5 November 2026
These terms apply when you order from The Christmas Tree Firm. You can reach us on 07885 730150, 07772 192461 for large trees, or at info@thechristmastreefirm.co.uk. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer.
Your order
Please check your order before confirming it, including the tree size, delivery address, delivery date and contact number. Our agreement starts when we confirm your order. Please give us a working telephone number so our team can contact you about your delivery.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown on the website when you order. You can pay in full, pay a deposit with the balance due later, or pay cash on delivery, where these options are offered. Any balance must be paid on or before delivery.
Real trees vary
Real Christmas trees are natural products. Trees in the same height range can differ in width, density, shape, branch spacing and trunk thickness, so yours may not look exactly like the photograph.
Height is measured from the base of the trunk to the tip. Your stand and any topper add further height, so please measure your ceiling, doorways and the route to the tree's final position before ordering.
Our Norway Spruce trees are for outdoor use only. A potted or rooted tree may be suitable for planting after Christmas, but we cannot promise that it will establish.
How does delivery work?
Delivery is free to most addresses in Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire. A small charge applies to some further-away postcodes, and any charge is shown when you order. Delivery options are also shown when you order.
Please make sure somebody is available on the delivery date, or agree other delivery instructions with us beforehand. If our driver cannot complete the delivery, a further delivery charge may apply for a second journey.
Large trees and set-up
Large and custom-size trees are quoted individually. Access, unloading space, support and the final position all need to be agreed with us before the order goes ahead. If you have asked us to set up a tree or door bow, please make sure the agreed position is clear and safe to work in.
Removal and recycling
If you book our removal service, please take off all lights and decorations, remove the stand and leave the tree outside in the agreed place, ready for collection on the agreed date. You do not need to be at home.
Cancelling your order
If you buy online, by phone or by email, you normally have 14 days from receiving your goods to change your mind and return them. Please tell us within that time, and return the item in its original condition within 14 days of telling us. We will refund you within 14 days of receiving it, or of receiving proof that you sent it back. Unless the item is faulty or we sent the wrong one, you pay the cost of returning it.
This right does not apply to goods that go off quickly, such as fresh-cut Christmas trees and fresh wreaths, or to goods made to your own specification, such as personalised decorations. If you need to change or cancel one of these orders, please contact us as soon as possible before your delivery date and we will do what we can to help.
If something is wrong
Please check your order when it arrives and tell us about any problem as soon as you can, with a photograph if possible. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If they are not, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund.
Looking after your tree
Once your tree is delivered, please follow the care advice on our website. Keep a fresh-cut tree in a suitable water-holding stand, check the water regularly and keep it away from strong heat sources.
Your personal information
Our Privacy Policy explains how we use your information.
Which law applies?
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you may also be able to bring a claim in your local courts.
