Real Christmas Trees Delivered and Installed in Cambridgeshire
The Christmas Tree Firm supplies large British-grown real Christmas trees for suitable sites throughout Cambridgeshire, from city-centre buildings and colleges in Cambridge to churches, schools, hotels, businesses and community spaces in Ely, Huntingdon, St Neots, Wisbech and the surrounding towns and villages.
Our specialist service extends from conventional larger trees through to Custom Size Tree 15ft-30ft projects. With more than 50 years of real Christmas tree experience, we can help plan the tree, delivery, access and installation around the individual site.
A Large Christmas Tree Is a Site Project, Not Just a Product
Once a real tree moves beyond normal household sizes, the practical questions change. How will the delivery vehicle reach the site? Is there enough room to unload? Can the tree pass through the entrance? How will it be supported once upright?
These details are why we ask customers planning substantial displays to speak to us before ordering. It allows us to consider the tree and the location together.

Large Christmas Trees Throughout Cambridgeshire
Cambridgeshire includes very different types of sites, from dense city locations to market towns, Fenland communities and rural venues. We plan larger deliveries around the actual postcode, tree size and access rather than treating the county as one identical route.
Cambridge and Nearby Villages
We serve Cambridge and nearby eligible areas, including communities around Histon and Cottenham. City and college-area projects can require particularly careful access planning because of restricted streets, loading arrangements and older buildings.
Ely and East Cambridgeshire
Our service includes Ely, Littleport, Chatteris and nearby communities. Churches, schools, hospitality venues and other organisations can contact us about both conventional and substantial tree requirements.
Huntingdonshire
We supply eligible projects around Huntingdon, St Neots and St Ives, together with surrounding villages. Larger halls and commercial properties should provide access information when enquiring.
North Cambridgeshire and the Fens
Our routes also extend towards Peterborough and Wisbech, with suitable projects considered according to postcode, tree size and delivery logistics.
South and West Cambridgeshire
We also cover eligible locations around Cambourne, Royston-border communities and villages between Cambridge and Huntingdon. If your location is not listed, use Areas Covered or Contact Us to check it.

Nordmann Fir or Norway Spruce?
Large Indoor Trees
Premium Nordmann Fir is generally the first tree type to consider for a large indoor display. Its softer foliage and good needle retention make it practical for indoor environments when properly watered and kept away from strong direct heat.
For smaller conventional requirements, our Premium Nordmann Fir range also covers household and venue-friendly sizes.
Traditional Outdoor Spruce
Norway Spruce Tree has pointed needles, a traditional shape and a stronger Christmas-tree fragrance. Our Norway Spruce range is supplied for outdoor use only.
For larger outdoor installations, the tree's support and exposure need to be considered alongside its height.
What We Check Before a Large-Tree Installation
- Final height: including any stand, support and topper.
- Branch width: large real trees can have substantial natural spread.
- Vehicle access: gates, restricted roads, loading areas and height limits can matter.
- Unloading space: the team needs a suitable working area around the vehicle.
- Route to position: indoor trees must physically reach the space where they will stand.
- Surface: paving, grass and indoor floors can require different approaches.
- Exposure: open outdoor sites need more consideration than sheltered locations.
- Existing support: tell us if the site already has a suitable base or support arrangement.
Stands and Support for Larger Trees
For larger conventional trees, Christmas Tree Stands includes options such as Cinco 12 Tree Stand for compatible trees within its stated capacity.
For custom trees in the 15ft-30ft range, support needs to be treated as part of the overall installation rather than selected as an afterthought. The correct approach depends on tree size, trunk dimensions, surface and whether the display is indoors or outside.
Willow Tree Ring can provide a decorative finish around the base of a compatible conventional tree, while Fresh Holly Wreaths can extend a natural festive scheme to entrances and secondary areas.
Large Christmas Tree Delivery and Installation
Our Delivery Service covers standard tree orders, while larger trees require more individual planning. For custom projects, our team can discuss transport, access, positioning and installation before confirming the order.
If you are operating more than one site, multi-tree requirements can also be discussed together. This can be particularly useful for schools, hospitality groups, commercial estates and organisations managing several seasonal displays.
What to Send Us for a Quote
You do not need to prepare a complicated specification. The following information is usually enough to start planning:
- delivery postcode;
- preferred tree height;
- indoor or outdoor position;
- type of venue;
- available height and width;
- doorway or gate measurements where relevant;
- vehicle access restrictions;
- photographs of the intended position;
- number of trees required;
- preferred delivery or installation period.
Examples of Larger Real Christmas Trees
Large indoor trees work best when the full access route and final ceiling height are considered before delivery.
Transport and unloading are an important part of any substantial Christmas tree project.

Looking After a Large Indoor Tree
Fresh-cut indoor Nordmann Fir still needs regular access to water. Where the support system allows, keep the water supply maintained and position the tree away from strong direct heat where practical.
