Fresh Christmas Trees in Huntingdon, Godmanchester and Brampton
Our story started on a small pitch in Luton, where a young man selling Christmas trees realised the demand was far bigger than he had expected. He went looking for a better tree, found the Nordmann Fir, and soon became known locally as the Christmas tree man. More than 50 years later he is in his late seventies and still selling trees, and the family business he started now delivers fresh trees to homes along the Great Ouse in Huntingdon, Godmanchester and Brampton.
What Has Three Generations Taught Us About Freshness?
My granddad taught my dad, and my dad taught me, that you cannot fake a fresh tree. You can see it in the colour, feel it in the needles and smell it the moment the netting comes off. That is why we still collect our trees ourselves.
| What we look for | Why it matters in your home |
| A recent cut | Trees are cut late in the season and reach you as little as two days later. |
| Supple needles | Soft, flexible needles are the clearest sign a tree is full of water. |
| A strong, even shape | Branches that stand out evenly take lights and decorations well. |
| A healthy trunk | A clean, solid trunk sits firmly in a stand and drinks freely. |
How Do We Keep Huntingdon Trees So Fresh?
Throughout December we go to our chosen growers every day to pick up fresh-cut trees. We do not employ anyone who does not share the same care for the job, and every tree is checked before it leaves us. The result is a tree that arrives at your Huntingdon door with its needles soft and its scent still strong.
Most families choose a Premium Nordmann Fir, the tree my granddad built his name on. If you prefer a more natural look, Standard Nordmann Fir offers the same needles with more character in the shape.

Fresh Christmas Trees in Huntingdon FAQs
Who chooses the trees?
We do. Our family has been in the Christmas tree trade for more than 50 years, and throughout December we visit our growers every day to pick up fresh-cut trees ourselves.
How soon after cutting will my tree reach Huntingdon?
As little as two days. Collecting daily means trees are cut close to delivery rather than weeks in advance.
What is the difference between Premium and Standard Nordmann Fir?
Both are the same species with the same soft needles. Premium trees are selected for a fuller, more even shape, while Standard trees have a more natural outline at a lower price.
Can I see trees other customers have had?
Yes. Our Customer Trees gallery shows decorated trees in homes and venues, which can help when choosing a size.
