How to Look After an Outdoor Norway Spruce

Norway Spruce generally sheds its needles more readily than Nordmann Fir, particularly when it becomes dry. Outdoor conditions can be cooler than a heated living room, but your tree still needs attention throughout the festive season.

Place the tree in an appropriate water-holding stand and check the water level regularly. Keep the cut end of the trunk supplied with water, and avoid positioning the tree next to a source of heat where possible.
